NJAMHAA Annual Report FY 2025 27 Education Council Members: Adtalem Global Education Bergen Community College Caldwell University Columbia University H ackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University Monmouth University M ontclair State University N ew Jersey Council of County Colleges The Integrated Healthcare Council (IHC) is comprised of businesses that offer a variety of products and services, including diagnostic testing and expert consultation on policy and operational issues to help strengthen providers’ effectiveness and long-term viability. While they meet formally only on an ad hoc basis, IHC members actively participate in NJAMHAA conferences, practice groups and other councils, and receive and share information on pertinent issues. The IHC also includes health maintenance organizations (HMOs), whose representatives actively participate on NJAMHAA’s HMO Council, along with providers and staff from the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) and the Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services (DMAHS), which oversees the contracts with the HMOs. This group fosters information sharing, as well as bidirectional and open communication, leading to a collaborative approach and often joint advocacy related to the carve-in of more behavioral health services that began in January 2025.
