8 75 th Anniversary F or 75 years, NJAMHAA’s leadership has aided members in all areas of operation, including but not limited to addressing financial stability and sustainability and workforce challenges, and shaping how services are delivered and reimbursed. As we conclude analyzing, interpreting and seeking clarity on the newly integrated regulations, NJAMHAA will also be seeking financial support to fully implement them. At all times, NJAMHAA’s advocacy to improve rates and contracts and better support the workforce with recruitment and retention bonuses, loan redemption programs, specialized training and more never rests. At both the state and federal levels, NJAMHAA continues its efforts to ensure all interested organizations are able to become Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) with the model and reimbursement formula included in federal statute. NJAMHAA has realized success in several important steps to this process. There have also been many regulatory and legislative successes in FY2026 with just a few highlighted here. Some of the greatest challenges lie ahead in FY2027 as the impact of H.R.1 and other federal cuts and changes to Medicaid and in safety net programs are felt. NJAMHAA will continue its 75-year legacy of advocacy to support members in addressing these challenges and in creating innovative opportunities they, and those they serve, need for success.
