Susan Loughery, MBA Associate Executive Director Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton Susan Loughery is Associate Executive Director for Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, as well as Chair of the Board of the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies. Susan par- ticipates in many NJAMHAA Practice Groups and advocacy initiatives, including Medicaid payment reform, integrated regulations, work- force development, liability protections for NJAMHAA agencies and the advancement of technology in behavioral health and addictions services. Susan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from St. John’s University and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Health Care from The George Wash- ington University. Stephanie Marcello, PhD Assistant Vice President, Academics, Integration and Innovation Chief Psychologist, Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care Stephanie Marcello, PhD, leads Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care’s (UBHC’s) Behavioral Research and Training Institute in its mission to develop the behavioral health workforce. Dr. Marcello is actively involved in the design and delivery of the Insti- tute’s trainings, conferences and consultation and workforce devel- opment for UBHC staff through the Institute’s Center for Continuing Education. She serves as Chief Psychologist for UBHC and Director of the Psychology Internship Program for doctoral students. Dr. Marcello has certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, and is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). Dr. Marcello was the Prin- cipal Investigator (PI) on two Integrated Health Care Programs. She worked with eight schools at Rutgers University to create curriculum and infrastructure changes needed to develop students’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to function effectively on inter-profes- sional integrated care teams that provide integrated mental health, addiction, and physical health care. Dr. Marcello was also the PI on a grant-funded project working with Cherokee Health Systems that focused on building the infrastructure needed to create trainers and consultants who are based at UBHC to learn the Cherokee model by utilizing a train-the-trainer approach and shadowing Cherokee as they work with four primary care clinics across the state. Hans Morefield CEO CHESS Health Hans Morefield is proud to lead the team at CHESS Health, an organization that brings innovative and evidence-based solutions for addiction management and behavioral health to healthcare providers, health plans, and the public sector. CHESS platforms help get more patients into treatment for substance use disorder, increase adher- ence to treatment plans, reduce the rate and severity of relapses, and lower the total cost of care. He has served as the Chief Executive Officer of CHESS Health since 2017. Prior to his time at CHESS, Hans served as the Vice President of Population Health and Care Coordi- nation at Experian, where he led the team delivering the innovative and successful CareCertainty Platform to accountable care organiza- tions, health plans, and risk-bearing health systems nationwide. In addition, Hans led teams for 15 years at SCI Solutions, the leading Software as a Service vendor for enterprise scheduling and commu- nity-wide order/referral management solutions. At SCI, Hans was the Senior Vice President for Strategic Development, responsible for both product management and strategic partnerships. Hans has a BA from Kalamazoo College, where he has served on the Board of Trustees for more than 15 years. In his free time, Hans also serves as a volunteer on the Community Relations Committee for Stepping Stones, the Historic Home of Bill & Lois Wilson, the founders of Alcoholics Anony- mous and Al-Anon. Erica Pulliam, BA Site Manager, START Program The Center for Great Expectations Erica Pulliam is the Newark Site Manager and co-creator of START, The Center for Great Expectations’ (CGE’s) community- based home visitation program. Erica is a graduate of Pillar College with an Associ- ate of Arts degree in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Counseling and Psychology with a Marriage and Family concentra- tion. Erica is a Certified Domestic Violence Response Team Member and a trained Community Perinatal Doula. She has worked at CGE since 2012, during which time she served as Associate Program Man- ager of the Adolescent Residential Program. Erica is trained in the Servant Leadership management model and in Reflective Supervi- sion. She is a demonstrated change agent for populations who are marginalized, rejected, mistreated, and subjected to silence. MEET THE PRESENTERS 54
