21 recruitment and retention, labor harmony as it relates to personnel and staffing; and COVID, sick leave, and mandatory vaccinations. Members encouraged providers funded by DMHAS to utilize the DMHAS Substance Abuse Block Grant COVID-19 Supple - mental Reimbursement (DSCOVRS) program for reimbursement of personal protective equipment and testing expenses. In addition, the group discussed background checks and different systems, such as IdentoGo, as many agencies do not conduct background checks or utilize this service. The group was provided with a list of other organizations that offer this service. IT Professional Advisory Committee Chair: Teri Gilroy, Senior Data Analyst, Acenda Inte - grated Health The IT Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) increased attendance and upon request of the mem - bers, hosted guest presentations for IT tools relevant to the changing field of cyber communications in the communities for staff and clients alike. The group also continued to work with agencies par- ticipating in DMHAS’ and the New Jersey Innovation Institute’s Substance Use Disorder Promoting Interop - erability Program; shared information about DMHAS’ DSCOVRS program, as well as expanded services for Total Management Solutions; and continued to host guest presentations about cybersecurity to assist agencies with this critical technology need. In addition, the IT PAC continued communications with NJAMHAA President and CEO Debra Wentz on the state’s policies and advocacy, particularly for increased funding. The group also continued to meet with DMHAS on the state’s internal systems: New Jer - sey Mental Health Application for Payment Process - ing, New Jersey Substance Abuse Monitoring System, Contract Information Management System, the Bed Enrollment Data System and Quarterly Contract Mon - itoring Reports. DMHAS developed the new Universal Services Transaction Form web portal and we participated in discussions, gave ideas, made comments and sat in presentations on the new portal. Quality Assurance and Compliance Committee Chair : Karen Acker, Administrative Director, West Ber - gen Mental Healthcare Co-Chair: Victoria Hewitt, Director of Compliance, Acenda Integrated Health The Quality Assurance and Compliance Committee has steadily increased its members, who are inter- ested in learning more about related issues facing behavioral healthcare providers. Quarterly meetings have provided opportunities to showcase both mem- bers and external speakers who are knowledgeable in these areas. Topics of discussion this year included licensing and state inspections, client satisfaction, records retention, changes in the 42 CFR Part 2 Final Rule, information blocking, anticipated changes with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Privacy Rule, and the No Surprises Act.
