33 NJAMHAA Annual Report FY 2023 • Brown & Brown (a NJAMHAA Approved Vendor) webinar on cyber liability: The webinar defined the threats and described the changes in the insurance industry and what cybersecurity measures agencies need to have in place to qualify for insurance. • Eleos Health, a Technology Council member, presented a webinar titled A Frontline Story on Adopting Augmented Intelligence for Behavioral Health (December 6, 2022). • Deborah Cmielewski, Esq., of Schenck Price and King presented Anatomy of a HIPAA Breach : The presentation provided a deep dive into the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) process for identifying and evaluating breaches, as well as notifications, training, prevention strategies, policies and procedures, newsworthy trends and enforcement. In between these larger events, NJAMHAA presented numerous webinars, two of which helped providers prepare for managed care. One of these webinars focused on value-based payments and calculating unit costs (October 18, 2022), and the other was an open discussion about the rollout of managed care for behavioral health (November 21, 2022). Additional webinar topics were alcohol use disorder (October 24, 2022), the use of psychedelics to support recovery (October 26, 2022), leading and inspiring the workforce (December 15, 2022), building resilience (January 11, 2023), private equity (January 17, 2023), quality assurance plans (February 15, 2023), unique collaboration models to improve health outcomes (March 7, 2023), and toxicology (May 8, 2023). In addition, the IT Project continued the DMHAS’ training series of virtual workshops. Highlights of topics presented are: • Enhancing Care Management Services through Mobile Technology (January 12, 2023): Representatives from CPC Behavioral Healthcare, a NJAMHAA member agency, discussed their collaboration with Kean University’s Occupational Therapy and Information Technology Departments in the development of a web-based application that includes decision trees that assist care managers in identifying resources to address social determinants of health. They also reinforced key safety considerations in the community.
