Administrative Practices Setting consistent expectations throughout the organization is important to prevent “drift.” Drift occurs when each location and program carries out your abuse prevention program in a slightly different way. Establishing formalized administrative practices and getting your Board of Directors on board with your abuse prevention program reduces this drift.
