The New JerseyMental Health Institute Leadership Academy for Behavioral Healthcare Professionals presents opportunities for aspiring leaders in themental healthcare, substance use disorder and intellectual/ developmental disabilities services fields to build themanagement skills that they and their organizations need. Participation in this cost-effective, year-long programalso helps improve staff retention, which reinforces behavioral healthcare organizations’ long-termviability, and improve the quality and consistency of services. The Leadership Academy is open to mentees and mentors who are working (and, in the case of some mentors, have worked) in various roles of the behavioral healthcare field, including clinical, administrative, legal, finance, human resources and information technology.
