As a result, NJAMHAA has been offering its members this service: Alerting members about openings or availability of staff via e-mail, on the website and in NJAMHAA News for a charge. For information about placing classified ads, please contact Rob DePlautt at rdeplautt@njamhaa.org Rutgers Health University Behavioral Health Care Employment Opportunities - Multiple Openings for Each Position Mental Health Clinician (MHC) II The MHC II will participate in the assessment and treatment of the clinical needs of clients. Assists in the development of appro- priate treatment plans and assumes overall case management responsibilities. Requirements: Master’s degree in a mental health discipline plus two (2) years of post-Master’s experience in the field of mental health; independent NJ license required by discipline. Mental Health Clinician III The MHC III will assist in carrying out a comprehensive mental health care program and related services. Assumes overall case management responsibilities. Requirements: Master’s degree in a mental health discipline; NJ license or permit required by discipline. Screening Clinician The Screening Clinician will perform psychiatric emergency ser- vices, screening, and screening outreach assessments as well as other mental health services. Requirements: Master’s degree in a mental health or related field; one-year post-Master, full time, professional experience in a psychiatric setting; must be eligible to receive the NJ certification as a Mental Health Screener within one year of employment; valid driver’s license. Habilitation Counselor The Habilitation Counselor provides a wide range of case management services to consumers to assist them in regaining control over their own lives and their own recovery process. Re- quirements: bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health discipline or related human services field; a minimum one year of experi- ence in the mental health field; valid driver’s license.
