Facilities completing their TFS adhere to multiple validation measurements to ensure their information is accurate and reliable. Multi-point data validation activities occur during the TFS completion (i.e., embedded logic and leadership attestation), following TFS submission (i.e., random audits and internal analyses) and post-submission studies (i.e., data triangulation and longitudinal data comparisons). “Empowered patients and families deserve high-quality providers. In the same way, high-quality providers deserve local and national recognition by payers, decision makers and subject matter experts. ATLAS is a revolutionary tool that combines both priorities into a free public-facing platform. This is the epitome of a win-win in my opinion,” Williams said. There is no fee for being featured in ATLAS and the indirect cost of not having all details in the directory could be exorbitant – not for providers, but for individuals in need of services. “People with substance use issues have become commodities in the nation’s $42 billion addiction industry.
