SESSION 2.3 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM SUD PIP/BH and eConsent Afternoon Sessions Key topics include: • The importance of eConsent in behavioral health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment • Interoperability standards and data-sharing protocols • Real-world use cases demonstrating the impact of eConsent on patient care coordination • Compliance with state and federal regulations, including 42 CFR Part 2 and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act • Incentivized milestones and funding opportunities through the New Jersey Department of Human Services Through case studies and practical applications, participants will learn how to leverage eConsent to improve patient outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance, and maximize the financial and technological benefits of the BH PIP program.
