2026 Spring Registration Brochure

Registration Brochure 11 COURSE DESCRIPTION: As behavioral health needs evolve, organizations are shifting from basic patient portals to advanced consumer engagement ecosystems designed to deepen collaboration and improve outcomes. Portals offer value, but are often limited to information and periodic communication. New “engagement hub” models integrate telehealth, peer support, digital therapeutics, remote monitoring, and guided care navigation — creating a unified digital experience that supports individuals at every stage of their wellness and recovery journeys. Participants will explore emerging evidence, key technology innovations, and real-world lessons from organizations implementing these models. The session will focus on strategies for overcoming digital access barriers, designing culturally responsive solutions, ensuring equity, and maintaining meaningful engagement beyond appointments. Practical examples will show how these tools can enhance participation, personalize services, and drive stronger long-term outcomes. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: At the end of this session, attendees will be able to: 1. Describe the limitations of traditional patient portals and the benefits of consumer engagement hubs in enhancing collaboration and outcomes in behavioral health care. 2. Identify technology-enabled strategies — such as telehealth, peer support, digital therapeutics, and remote monitoring — that strengthen engagement across the behavioral healthcare continuum. 3. Define the practical approaches for integrating digital tools into organizational workflows, addressing equity and access barriers, and improving consumer experience and outcomes.
