NJAMHAA Annual Report FY 2025 23 CHAIR: Dominic Barone, LSW, LCADC, CCS, CPRS Vice President of Operations Pyramid Healthcare The Residential Providers Practice Group is one of the newer groups. Since it was established in 2021 in response to a member’s request, it has emulated the trend of the groups that were created many years ago with a steadily increasing number of members, many of whom participate on a consistent basis. The group discusses and develops advocacy strategies for matters affecting all types of providers — for example, the state budget, Medicaid billing and reimbursement, negotiations with Residential Providers Practice Group “ In the 50+ years I have worked for the homeless and behaviorial health population, there has never been a time as complicated, threatening and filled with opportunity as we are currently experiencing. Success will depend upon accurate information and collaboration. NJAMHAA is the hallmark, providing in its member newsletter and practice group and membership meetings timely, accurate information that directly impacts our work. Plus, all the staff provide excellent assistance, usually within the same day it’s requested.
