STEPHANIE MARCELLO BEGAN serving on the NJMHI Board on July 1, 2024. She leads the Rutgers University’s Behavioral Research and Training Institute in its mission to develop the behavioral healthcare workforce. She also serves as Chief Psychologist for Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care and Director of the Psychology Internship Program for two American Psychological Association-accredited doctoral programs. Dr. Marcello has certification from the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers. In addition, she is a Professor at Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology and a Professor of Psychiatry at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Marcello is also a member of the executive leadership of the Behavioral Health and Addictions Service Line at RWJBarnabas Health. “I’mexcited to be elected to the NJMHI Board.
