October 2021 14 NJAMHAA was pleased to work with the New Jersey Association of Integrated Case Management (NJAICM) and NJAMHAA’s ICMS Practice Group to present a conference, Delivering Hope Post-Pandemic, on November 19, 2021. A highlight of this event was the presentation of ICMS Case Manager Awards. “Nothing holds back ICMS workers, as they are courageous, compassionate and committed to the mission of ICMS. We were proud and inspired, sharing their uplifting stories and celebrating the amazing impact they have on individuals’ lives every day,” said Debra L. Wentz, PhD, President and CEO of NJAMHAA. “ICMS case managers are unsung heroes in the mental health field. They work tirelessly to assist and support individuals with complex mental health issues under difficult circumstances,” added Anna Kline, MAE, Director of ICMS and Justice Involved Services, Preferred Behavioral Health Group, and Chair of NJAICM and the NJAMHAA ICMS Practice Group. “Without these mental healthcare heroes, many individuals would not be able to achieve the milestones in their recovery that we experience through integrated case management, and many would remain isolated and suffering in silence. ICMS case managers deliver hope and the promise that recovery frommental illness and substance use disorders is possible, with compassion and care.” NJAMHAA, NJAICM and the Practice Group congratulate this year’s ICMS Case Manager Award recipients: Moses Gbadebo, Case Manager at Jewish Family Service of Atlantic and CapeMay Counties Since joining the agency 10 years ago, Moses has demonstrated relentless determination to help individuals with psychiatric illness. He always has a positive attitude and resolves conflicts with remarkable patience and admirable tact. He makes difficult and stressful situations appear to be easily manageable. Moses eagerly goes out of his way to advocate for his clients and he is well respected by everyone at collaborative agencies. win er 2022
