October 2021 15 Opal Vogt, Case Manager, Oaks Integrated Care, Burlington County ICMS Team Opal has a gift for establishing strong, positive relationships with individuals, many of whom have the most challenging combinations of issues to address, and she consistently exceeds expectations. She demonstrated her passion and dedication when she said, “I love my job because the company focuses on consumer and employee mental health. I love embracing the FISH philosophy and pointing out the little joys in life to both consumers and co-workers.” Lauren Beaudry, LCSW, Case Manager, Oaks Integrated Care, Camden County ICMS Team Lauren is the “personification of an ideal case manager” with many positive qualities, including being very personable, dedicated, passionate, conscientious, hardworking, thorough and compassionate. She goes over and beyond the program’s requirements to make sure that every need is met for every client. Her eloquence, gentleness, sociable nature and constant willingness to offer additional assistance when needed make Lauren a role model to her colleagues. Vera Igumnova, CaseManager, Cumberland County Guidance Center Vera works tirelessly to ensure that every client and support person’s needs are met, which includes establishing effective collaborative relationships with various community partners. She is a strong advocate for service access and participates in activities that aim to decrease stigma. During the pandemic, Vera worked as the only case manager for the ICMS program and she provided assistance to two additional case management programs. ZeetaRoberts, Case Manager, Mount Carmel Guild Behavioral Health, Essex County ICMS Team Zeeta continually goes above and beyond for her clients and literally saved a life by following her instincts. On her way to see a client, Zeeta felt compelled to check on another consumer nearby. The individual passed out while Zeeta was contacting emergency medical services. She used her CPR and crisis- intervention skills. The EMTs said Zeeta called just in time to save the individual’s life. Beth Aubrey, Senior Case Manager, Acenda Integrated Health, Gloucester County ICMS Team Beth has established herself as a leader for the program not only within Acenda, but also in representing ICMS in the community. In addition to her ICMS roles, Beth volunteered to become a “super user” of Acenda’s new electronic health record system in early 2021. This entailed extensive training that prepared Beth to be a trainer for the entire adult case management division staff. Anthony Chan, ICMS Care Manager, CPC Behavioral Healthcare, Monmouth County ICMS Team Anthony’s experience with mental illness and stigma prompted his interest in educating and helping others with mental illness. He is flexible, hardworking and empathetic as he successfully connects individuals from diverse backgrounds to the various support services they need. He prides himself on his ability to help clients develop patience and persistence to achieve their goals while recognizing and enhancing their own strengths. winter 202 [continued on page 16]
